We have days left to build for the demonstration on 20th June against austerity. This is going to be a really important day with a demonstration in London and Glasgow hosting their own event. Details can be found here (http://www.stuc.org.uk/campaigns-and-external-events/scotland-against-austerity).
We need to send a loud message to the new government that we will not tolerate a further 5 years of cuts and job losses. PCS as always will have a prominent presence on the march. It will be an inspiring day – the press themselves are already talking about over 100,000 people attending the London event. We know there will be many more than that – let’s make the yellow and blue of PCS stand out next Saturday!
Contact your regional secretary for additional information on transport to the event in London.

TUC Disabled Workers’ Conference
The recent TUC Disabled Workers’ Conference invited people to support a petition calling for an end to cuts to the vital Access to Work fund that supports thousands of disabled workers to obtain, and retain, employment.
The petition is live and can be found at https://you.38degrees.org.uk/petitions/stop-access-to-work-cuts-for-the-disabled and we would encourage you to sign the petition and circulate it widely.
