Further to our original post (below), the BBC has posted an update that states the people responsible for the “fake claimant” statements may face disciplinary action. Full article here.

The BBC has published a news article that reports DWP has “made up” stories about claimants on recent benefit sanction information leaflets.

The full article can be found here and is quite shocking really, though no one really likes getting lied to.

Hopefully not all Civil Servants will be considered to support this type of false advertising.
