Members have raised questions with the Branch on specific points. We have raised these with PCS DWP Group and have received answers, the details are published below:

If some is already outside of their mobility policy (travelling longer by public transport), and opt in to the employee deal, does this start their contractual terms afresh, or not. If they opt out do they remain on the existing position of travelling outside of their mobility policy.

 Answer

 The length of the daily journey that the employee is of no relevance to the ED. If they opt out they remain on their current mobility policy. If they opt in they adopt the ED Mobility policy detailed in Appx 3 of the agreement.
