Please see the details below from BSD Management
If you did agree to be part of the ED:
• you must tag onto at least one late each week, which should ideally be a 18.30 finish
But this has a difference in meaning from the actual detail in the employee deal:
13 d) Collectively, employees working patterns will need to match the team staffing requirement, reflecting customer demand. Colleagues will endeavour to achieve this match by negotiation within the team; but the employment contract will ultimately enable a manager to require a colleague to work at a specific time on a specific day. But it is agreed for any employee:
(ii) not to fix more than one in five consecutive working days beyond 17:00, unless the employee chooses to do so;
Answer (further answer)
Please also refer to Q3. from the Advice section of the new Working Hours and Working Patterns policy
3. Isn’t there a requirement for everyone to do a minimum number of evening shifts per week and one in four Saturdays?
No. The days and hours that each team member works will be agreed through cooperation and negotiation across the team. Differences in working patterns between employees will be okay providing that, at team level, the right number of employees are at work to deliver a consistently good service and meet business demand.
