Question:

I have a question about the ED:

I was in a meeting today and it was mentioned that staff have to put 37 hours down on the tool per week.  I questioned it and was told that it was correct.

Is this correct?

Answer:

Thank you for your email The Team Planning Tool (TPT) is used to produce a Working Pattern Plan.

The TPT uses contractual hours (e.g. 37 hours per week) to match with the customer demand forecast and establishes which end of the day is fixed but, as stated in the fifth paragraph of the

Confirming and Maintaining Working Pattern Plans Fact Sheet and under Flexible Working Hours Agreement Policy Paragraph 1, “the Flexible Working Hours Agreement will be the primary means of managing hours and working patterns on a day to day basis”.
