Employee Deal Team Planning Tool – Rotation Two postponed
Reps and members have raised a variety of concerns with the PCS DWP Group Executive Committee over how the Employee Deal is being implemented in practice since the new working arrangements began in February 2017. While these concerns are not universal there are some sites that are experiencing difficulties.
DWP have agreed to review with PCS how the Employee Deal is working, taking into account both customer service and the experiences of staff. In order to provide the time to do this the department has agreed that the current working pattern rotation is extended by 5 weeks.
This means that there will be an additional five weeks before members have to start populating their team planning tool schedules for rotation two. The formal notice of rotation two of the working pattern will also be delayed by five weeks. The new working pattern will, as a result, now run for 5 months rather than six.
