This October, Show Racism the Red Card is seeking your support for Wear Red Day 2018.

This year the 4th annual Wear Red Day takes place in England and Wales on the 19th October 2018.

Show Racism the Red Card is an anti-racism education charity which has been working with young people and teachers since 1996.  Their educational work is crucial in challenging racist attitudes in society and breaking down barriers within communities. Young people continue to be victims of racial abuse every day and research has shown that 75% of teachers have dealt with racism in their school without receiving proper training or support.

PCS is supporting the Wear Red Day national day of action and we hope that branches will take part and encourage members to wear red and donate £1.

All donations will help to facilitate the delivery of anti-racism education for young people & adults throughout England, Scotland & Wales.  For just £5 Show Racism the Red Card (SRtRC) can educate one child for a whole day.
