Dear Colleagues

As a Member of PCS we all have our own individual reasons for joining the Union. All current DWP Members of the Branch recently confirmed their choice by switching over to Direct Debit when check- off was removed.

I’m sure you could all possibly name 2 or 3 colleagues, who may be interested in their pay, and terms of conditions, you may have discussed these with them and they may have shown an interest in the issues that PCS are actively engaged in. Our conditions of service are under almost daily threat and the strength of the Union increases with the every member that joins; so we are asking you to re-open these conversations and put forward the benefits of belonging to the Union.

Potential Members miss out by not receiving regular updates on the Unions activities, representation at meetings, members’ PCS+ benefits etc.
For a period of 6 weeks the Branch asks that all Members try and recruit any potential Members into the Union. For every new Member you recruit you will be entered into a prize draw. The prize is a £100 voucher. If you are lucky enough to win perhaps you might want to share this prize with the new member that you introduced?

The Prize Draw
The Recruit a Friend period opens on 1st June 2016 and concludes on 12th July 2016.

How to enter
To enter complete the form here and send it along with the completed membership form from the new member. You will then be entered into a prize Draw of all the members who have recruited a new member and sent their entries to Mick Daniels, Room C112R, DWP Warbreck House.

If you recruit more than one new member your name will be entered in to the prize draw for every new member you introduce. The more members you introduce the better your chance of winning!

The prize draw will take place on 13th July 2016 and the lucky winners details will be published in the Branch Newsletter.

Please note that Branch Executive Committee members and Officers are excluded from entering the draw.
