Collective Agreement – Employee Deal: Pay Offer (AA to HEO) – Final Version

 

Attached to this briefing is the final version of the full collective agreement that PCS, DWP and the other unions have now signed.

Since the proposed agreement was published there have been a small number of changes.

Most of these are minor and cosmetic. There were however a few more substantive changes.

Paragraph 3 has been changed to clarify the opting out process.

Paragraphs 9, 12, 16, 17 and 18 have been changed to make clear that they do not apply to opted out staff.

Following many requests from reps and members for this paragraph to be clarified, particularly for part time staff, Paragraph 13, d, ii) has been changed to read:

Not to fix more than one in five consecutive working days beyond 17:00, unless the employee chooses to do so

Paragraph 13, d, iii) and vi) have also been changed to clarify their meaning.

Appendix 2 had had the word ‘reasonably’ inserted in line 3 of the second paragraph.

Appendix 4 has been changed to clarify that the requirement to fix an end date for part year or compressed hours working arrangements does not apply to opted out staff, whose current working arrangements predate 6 January 2014.
